Dupage pads offers many rewarding volunteer opportunities.

NAPERVILLE & SURROUNDING AREAS

Please join us on September 8 at Saint Margaret Mary 1450 Green Trails, Naperville, to learn about volunteering for DuPage PADS at our overnight shelter site at this location. We are in need of volunteers for the following day and shifts:

2nd Thursday of each month (September thru May)

  • Overnight Shifts: 10pm-2am and 2am-5am
  • Breakfast Shift and Clean-up: 5am-8am

Please join us on September 19 at Community United Methodist Church, 20 Center Street, Naperville, to learn about volunteering for DuPage PADS at our overnight shelter site at this location. We are in need of volunteers for the following day and shifts:

3rd Sunday each month (September thru May)

  • Monitoring: 8pm-10pm
  • Overnight Shifts: 10pm-2am and 2am-5:30am
  • Breakfast Shift and Clean-up: 5am – 8am

ADDITIONAL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Movers
Movers will be needed to get pads from one church to another in September. Dates are to be determined.

Mentors
Work one-on-one with clients in our supportive housing program to assist them with community involvement, employment and life skills. Click here for a Mentor Orientation on September 14.

Support Center, Wheaton
We need volunteers to welcome new people who come to DuPage PADS. Volunteer hours are between 7:30am-1:00pm.

Special Events
DuPage Pads has certain events that happen throughout the year. Our next big event is our 5k Run/Walk on September 10. We are looking for volunteers to assist in set-up, monitor the course, help out at water stations, and clean up.
