Leadership giving program
PADS Partners are individuals, families, businesses, and service organizations that commit to leadership giving at the $500 level or more annually to meet agency operational needs and ensure continued effective programming.
Sharing Gifts and Talents
Many of our Partners are Board members, committee members, and raise the level of awareness of homelessness in their communities and circle of friends.
"As a PADS Partner, my gift has tremendous impact on the future of PADS programs and services offered to people in crisis. Just as important is the talent and and energy Partners bring to the agency as ambassadors for our mission to end and prevent homelessness in DuPage County."

impact up Close
Volunteering for an event steering committee was good, but not enough for PADS Partner, Mary Schulte who wanted to be involved "hands on, up close." So, she joined a team of volunteers that helped support an Interim (Overnight) Housing Site.
It was at the deli counter of a local grocers where the impact of her work finally caught up with Mary. She requested 80 slices of ham and 40 slices of cheese. The unusual nature of the request caused the deli assistant to ask what the order was being used for. Mary explained that she was a volunteer for PADS gathering 40 lunches for guests at the Interim (Overnight) Housing site.
The exchange that followed next was a courageous revelation by the assistant, who proudly told Mary that until recently, she had been a PADS guest at the Interim (Overnight) Housing sites. She proudly told Mary that she was in her own home thanks to our PADS Permanent Supportive Housing Program.

"The PADS Partner Program is helping to fill an urgent need that we were, until now, unable to address. The support of the PADS Partners helps meet the agency's operational costs, which are rising with the number of
people who are experiencing homelessness in DuPage County."
