2012 DuPage PADS 6th Annual Taste of Hope

Abbington Banquets, Glen Ellyn, IL

The Taste of Hope offers guests the luxury of having dinner from 25 different restaurants in one evening. Leading area restaurants will serve samples of their signature dishes to raise funds for the programs and services of DuPage PADS. Music, auctions, and a unique raffle will round out an evening of delicious dining.

Proceeds will support programs that provide housing, support services, and employment readiness training to assist men, women and children who are homeless in DuPage County. Help us end homelessness in DuPage County.

2012 DuPage PADS 10th Annual Bowl-a-Rama

Help strike out homelessness in DuPage County! The annual Bowl-A-Rama is a fun, family event, drawing people from throughout DuPage County.  Proceeds will support programs that provide housing, support services, and employment readiness training to assist men, women and children who are homeless in DuPage County. 2012 DuPage PADS 8th Annual Walk/Run

DuPage PADS, 703 W. Liberty, Wheaton

Take a step to end homelessness in DuPage County! This 5K CARA approved course appeals to serious runners, casual joggers and families alike. Rain or shine, all are invited to stay for music, refreshments and prizes after the race.

Proceeds from this FUNdraiser will support programs that provide housing, support services, and employment readiness training to assist men, women and children who are homeless in DuPage County. Help us end homelessness in DuPage County.

DuPage PADS 9th Annual
Wake Up Your Spirit Breakfast

Benedictine University, Lisle, IL

Approximately 400 guests listened as Eddie Slowikowski, our keynote speaker, shared his experiences of humility and service, and then “woke up everyone’s spirit” through his dance and spirit of hope. Brad, one of our clients, spoke about his personal experience with homelessness, and shared how DuPage PADS helped his family to overcome many obstacles to now have a place to call “home”. 

When women and men like Brad receive guidance from our support services and employment readiness programs, they set goals, improve their self-esteem, and establish connections that lead them to employment and work toward self-sufficiency – moving them into their own homes!

These programs would not be possible without the support of our donors, volunteers, and partnerships from the community. 

We want to thank those of you who attended or contributed for making this memorable event an overwhelming success.
